35 Bottle case at $4.90 in Walmart. Homeless people commented they did not get any money help yesterday. Giving money is NOT the solution.

Left the food of bag good for 10 days for a 20 year old that was asking for money, when I asked why? he said he was recently out of jail, and 20 interviews and no job available. Gave him my business card, told him to send me via email his resume to review and correct, and told him he could use me as a reference.

Asked to a homeless man if he wanted food, water or both, he responded both and recognized me as I gave him before, and he confirmed to me the Walmart bag full of special food was excellent and lasted for 9 days and he was not done yet with it. Met on a stop light, a homeless in wheel chair, only one leg. I delivered food and water, he could not believe it, and asked if the huge water case he could share it with the "Guys"?, My heart fell to the floor, I responded offcourse. Met a woman asking for money, told her I do not carry/give money, but I have cases of water and food in the trunk. She was desperate as she did not eat anything all day long. I gave her my only bill of $20 against my rule, her face was in distress. Gave her Water. She also needed money to go to the dentist. Next time I will point out there are many free dental services for homeless in the city, it is in our manual, and she can find the numbers there.
